Implementing Eyeplan
Once the decision has been made to adopt the Eyeplan business model implementing in practice is achieved in two stages; the initial consultancy and the training.
Stage One: Strategy
Eyeplan works with the new Eyeplan Associate to develop a pricing strategy prior to launching Eyeplan in the practice. The strategy is designed to make membership of Eyeplan tempting and worthwhile for patients as well as protecting the business margins.
A pricing strategy is worked out for:
- Clinical care
- Frames
- Lenses
- Contact Lenses
Stage Two: Training
The Eyeplan initial training session involves every member of the practice team in the Eyeplan process. The training session covers everything the practice will need to get going including:
- Why Eyeplan is necessary
- What is Eyeplan
- How patients view Eyeplan
- How to present the Eyeplan choice
- The Accidental Damage Scheme
- Administering Eyeplan
Presenting the Eyeplan choice is based around the ‘customer carousel’. At each point on the carousel there is an opportunity to introduce the Eyeplan benefits.
